TRAGEDY IN NKOABANG: 16-YEAR-OLD BOY ARRESTED OVER SISTER’S DEATH
A tragic incident has reportedly occurred in Nkoabang, in Cameroon’s Centre Region, where a 16-year-old boy, identified as Gianai Prince, has been arrested in connection with the death of his 18-year-old sister, Valeryn.
According to reports, the incident allegedly followed a dispute between the siblings over an iPhone. The tragedy reportedly occurred in early August in the Ndongo neighbourhood.
Valeryn’s body was allegedly buried in a shallow grave behind the family compound and was discovered five days later during a search.
The suspect reportedly fled to Douala after the incident but was later traced and arrested by gendarmerie officers.
On Wednesday, September 9, he was reportedly taken back to Nkoabang as part of an investigative reconstruction of the events.
The case remains under investigation, and the circumstances surrounding the incident will be subject to the findings of the authorities.
