🇨🇲 CAMEROON STRENGTHENS DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP WITH ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK

Cameroon is strengthening its cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) as the two sides continue discussions on financing development projects across the country.

Reports published on September 15 indicate that nearly CFAF 2,000 billion has been mobilised within the framework of Cameroon’s cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group. (camer.be)

The financing is expected to support development programmes and projects in strategic areas, contributing to Cameroon’s economic and social development.

The latest discussions come as Cameroon continues to seek external financing for major infrastructure and development initiatives amid growing demands for investment in sectors such as energy, transport, agriculture and social development.

The Islamic Development Bank is one of Cameroon’s international development partners, and its financing has supported projects aimed at improving infrastructure and living conditions.
