Nigerian airline Enugu Air is scheduled to launch direct flights between Enugu and Douala on September 23, 2026.
The new route will connect Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu with Douala International Airport, marking the airline’s first international route.
According to the airline’s announced schedule, the service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Flights from Enugu are scheduled to depart at 12:45 p.m. and arrive in Douala at 1:45 p.m. The return flight is scheduled to leave Douala at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Enugu at 3:30 p.m.
The airline says the new route is intended to facilitate travel for businesses, families and passengers travelling between Nigeria and Cameroon.
Passengers from Lagos and Abuja are also expected to be able to connect to the Douala service through Enugu.
The route would provide another direct air link between the two neighbouring countries, alongside existing services connecting Nigeria with Cameroon.
