A museum gallery is never the whole collection. Curators choose objects, arrange relationships, write labels, and decide what visitors should notice first. Those decisions turn storage into an argument about history and meaning.
Good exhibitions make their choices visible. They give objects room to speak while also acknowledging provenance, uncertainty, and the people whose histories may have been overlooked.
