Kang Quintus Breaks Down As He Shares Painful True Story From Prison

Popular Cameroonian actor and filmmaker Kang Quintus has left fans in tears after releasing Part 1 of his true-life story titled "Diary of a Prisoner."

In a long emotional post, Kang opened up about his marriage breakdown and what happened before his arrest.

According to him, he got married on December 31, 2024, after dating for three years. He said it was a very private wedding with only five people present. No photos were posted online.

Trouble started on November 22, 2025. Kang said that morning his wife served him breakfast and they played cards together. Later, she told him she was taking their kids to a hospital in Yassa, Douala.

He had no idea she was actually heading to the airport.

"I called and texted for over ten hours with no response. I was scared something had happened to them, so I went to file a police report," Kang wrote.

It was around midnight that he received a call informing him his wife was on a flight to Canada.

When he got home, he discovered their wall safe was empty. All documents including passports had been taken. He later found out she had packed her bags months earlier and kept them at her aunt's house in Bali, Douala.

Since that day, Kang says his wife has never replied to any of his messages.

Five months later in April 2026, he said he saw her crying on social media. He did not give details, saying many people already knew what followed.

Kang said the most painful part happened after his arrest. He needed their marriage certificate and children's birth certificates for his lawyers. Since his wife left with all documents, he messaged her directly.

"She read my message. No reply. She forwarded the documents to my little sister instead," he said.

He said he could sometimes hear his wife in the background when he spoke to his kids through her younger sister's phone, but she never said a word to him.

"Not even a simple 'are you okay?' I understand love can end, but does it have to become this cold?" Kang questioned.

He said the silence broke him more than the separation itself.

The actor ended the post by saying we can never fully know the people we love the most, and promised Part 2 of his diary is coming.

Fans have flooded the comment section with messages of support and prayers as the story continues to trend in Cameroon.
